Pulmonary Embolism and Deep Vein Thrombosis

Abstract: Pulmonary embolism is the third most common cause of death from cardiovascular disease after heart attack and stroke. Sequelae occurring after venous thrombo embolism include chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension and post-thrombotic syndrome.
