Pulling Off Stable Economic System Adhering Carbon Emissions, Urban Development and Sustainable Development Values

Abstract: In today's world, sustainability has become a major concern. The current study attempts to look into the impact of six sustainable development values on economic growth and emissions of carbon footprints: freedom, equality, solidarity, tolerance, respect for nature, and shared mobility. “…However, in the 1980s, the sustainable development proposal that “economic growth will not necessarily damage the environment” prompted scholars to further explore the relationship between environmental pollution and economic growth. Cai et al ( 6 ) found that two of the six sustainable development values—tolerance and solidarity—have a beneficial impact on a country's economic growth. Furthermore, the concept of the “Environmental Kuznets Curve” (EKC), which is also consistent with the concept of sustainable development, has been proposed.…”

“…We introduce the interaction term fin×sportscl between the level of financial development and regional sustainable development as an explanatory variable and the level of financial development (fin) as a moderator variable. We construct the regression model of Equation (2) and Equation (3) to explore the moderating effect of the development level of market finance.…”

“…In addition, how to deal with the relationship between man and society, man and nature, and realize the coordinated development and win–win symbiosis of the economy and society has become a challenge faced by all humankind. Sustainable development is a multidimensional concept that emphasizes the integration of the economy, society and environment within a region and the realization of dynamic balance ( 1 , 2 ). According to the interpretation of sustainable development made by the International Union of Ecology (INTECOL), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and other departments, sustainable development mainly emphasizes the importance of ecological civilization construction in the natural environment, economy, society, science, and technology ( 3 , 4 ), which shows the importance of green and coordinated development in sustainable development.…”
