Abstract:En este artículo se establecen los factores que influyen en los distintos niveles de involucramiento de la ciudadanía en las elecciones municipales en Uruguay a partir de 2010. Diversos estudios muestran que la concurrencia a votar en las elecciones locales es inferior a las nacionales, pero que la participación aumenta a medida que disminuye el tamaño del municipio.
