Public health impact of substance use

Abstract: Článek se věnuje veřejnozdravotní významnosti užívání návykových látek a faktorů spojených s jejich regulací. Je prezentován vliv užívání návykových látek (tabáku, alkoholu a nelegálních drog) na celkovou zdravotní zátěž. Je srovnána míra zdravotní a společenské rizikovosti různých návykových látek. Jsou prezentovány příklady významného ovlivnění zdravotního stavu populace návykovými látkami.
