Cash Waqf-Linked Sukuk (CWLS), which integrates cash waqf instruments and sovereign Sukuk, is an innovative Islamic investment product with social and spiritual dimensions. This study investigates public intention to participate in Retail CWLS (SWR) using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework with the addition of other relevant constructs. An online survey was conducted using the purposive sampling technique and involved 130 respondents. The data were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) supported by WarpPLS. The results indicate that Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Transparency (PT), and Trust in the Indonesian Waqf Board and Waqf Institutions have a significant positive effect on individual Intention to participate in Retail CWLS. Furthermore, this study reveals that Trust could partially mediate the relationship between PU and individual Intention. However, Religiosity fails to moderate the relationship between PU and individual Intention to purchase SWR. The study also demonstrated other complementary statistical outputs such as split-sample, non-linear relationships among latent variables, effect size, and the Q-squared coefficient to ensure that the processed data were robust. Also, this finding indirectly implies that CWLS is not only targeted at the Muslim community but also for general investors from other religions and beliefs.

Purpose:We examined the effects of factors influencing maternal and child healthcare (MCH) service financing in Kano State through waqf. To this end, the impact of donor attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control on intention to finance MCH through waqf is examined. Methodology: A descriptive survey was conducted, and crossectional data was gathered from business communities of Kantin-Kwari, Singa and Sabon Gari Markets within the Kano metropolis. Similarly, a closed-ended questionnaires were administered to 500 business people. Findings: By applying Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), it was established that donor's attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control propelled donor's intention towards financing MCH through waqf. Significance: The study is insightful as it emphasizes the contribution of waqf in financing MCH service. It highlights how Waqf can unbundle healthcare financial constraints, particularly in providing maternity and children healthcare services. Practical Implication: The study has practical implications in the sense that it provides policy makers with the ethical based source of funding MCH services which has the potential to reduce government's fiscal burden. As well, it shows the key role entrepreneurs can play in providing funds for a quality healthcare service.

Determinants of the Intention to Participate in Waqf: Altruism, Trust, and Religiosity

This study aims to determine community groups' behavior in participating in waqf. One of the motives that waqf marketers must capture is altruistic behavior in waqf. Altruism is a feeling of wanting to prosper others so that personal interests are sometimes not always important. The feelings of people who always want to help others must be seen and converted into one of the marketing tools in the future. Religiosity is proposed as a moderation of one's altruistic nature in participating in waqf. This study uses the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) model, with a total of 61 active waqf in Indonesia. The main finding revealed that altruism significantly affected trust, although it did not affect the intention to participate in waqf. Another significant result reveals that Islamic religiosity moderates the effect of altruism on the intention to participate in waqf if the customer (wakif) has felt trust. In this case, someone with a higher level of religiosity has a greater intention to participate in waqf compared to those with lower religiosity. The significant contribution of this research is the developed theory about the relationship between altruistic attitude, belief, and intention to participate in waqf. This study also recommends practitioners making marketing strategies (segmentation-targeting-positioning) that use customer journeys in altruistic and religious programs. The marketing program is structured in order to find the interest of new wakif candidates as well as to prove credibility so that it will gain trust and in the end will increase a person's intention to participate in waqf.
