This study focuses on the predictors of sustainable energy technology (SET) adoption behavior in south-western Nigeria. Although the extant literature is gorged with plethora of studies on sustainable energy technology adoption, studies that were conducted in a typical emerging economy like Nigeria in general and south-west Nigeria in particular are grossly under-researched and under-reported. The main objective of this study is to empirically investigate the predicting factors that influence the adoption of sustainable energy technology in south-western Nigeria. Based on the foregoing, the study adopted quantitative design and quota sampling as the research design and sampling method respectively. Questionnaire was the research instrument. The validity and the reliability of the research instrument were tested using construct validity and composite validity respectively. Hypothesized relationships were tested using structural equation modeling. It was found that performance expectancy, perceived value and effort expectancy have significant effect on the intention to adopt sustainable energy technology, while social influence, facilitating condition and intrinsic motivation do not. Also, it was revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between intention to adopt sustainable energy technology and the actual adoption of sustainable energy technology. It was concluded that the study provided empirical support that Unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) provides a robust and comprehensive theoretical framework to predict, explain and describe sustainable energy technology adoption behaviour in a typical developing country context like Nigeria. The marketers of SET products should use price as their unique selling proposition to attract customers. Also, the quality of the SET products should conform with the expected performance of the product. Also, the SET marketers should endeavour that expected efforts of the prospective SET products consumers are met adequately since social influence, facilitating conditions and intrinsic motivation did not have significant effect on adoption intentions for SET.

Renewable energy has become an important element of today’s modern technology targeting high-efficiency energy production. As part of its 2030 Vision, Saudi Arabia is aiming to increase its energy production through renewable sources. The purpose of this research study is to explore the factors affecting public willingness to adopt renewable energy technologies in the western region of Saudi Arabia. This was achieved through an extensive literature review of previous studies conducted worldwide and resulted in the extraction of 19 factors that affect public willingness to adopt renewable energy technologies. Following a quantitative research design, random cross-sectional data of 416 participants using the extracted factors were collected via an online questionnaire survey. Following a dimension reduction statistical approach, key components were extracted with exploratory factor analysis using principal component analysis. Five main components clustering the 19 extracted factors were revealed: cost and government regulations and policies, public awareness and local market, environment and public infrastructure, residential building, and renewable energy technology systems. The implications of this research study assist in guiding governments, regulations and policy makers, marketing agencies, and investors to better understand the concerns and enablers of renewable energy technologies adoption from the public perspective.

The vision of PSU Research Review is to make a substantial impact on both scholarship and practice in the twenty-first century via a rich stream of conceptual and applied research focused on developments in various fields (Yamani, 2017;Nurunnabi, 2017aNurunnabi, , 2017b. The submissions in our journal arise from various parts of the world. In this journey, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Founding Editor -Dr Ahmed S. Yamanifor his tremendous and continuing support for the journal. I want to thank the members of our Editorial Board for their valuable input in raising the profile and standards of the journal, and our reviewers for their high quality reviews. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all authors included in this issue.I am very pleased with the robust submissions to this third issue of the first volume. I am proud to present six articles and a book review that comprise a highly diverse, value-adding and contemporary set of perspectives in the domains of education and humanities. Below, I provide a capsule summary of the articles and the book review.The first article, by Kinchin ( 2017), provides a conceptual framework for pedagogic frailty which can be used to support professional development of university teachers. Pedagogic frailty has been proposed as a unifying concept that may aid the integration of institutional efforts to augment teaching while at the same time maintaining the development of pedagogy. Frailty is therefore not something to be overcome as much as something to be managed over time. This unifying concept is built on a concept map and case studies of academics' interactions with the frailty model. Kinchin has refined the model as a faculty development tool in a personalised and discipline-sensitive way. He also argues that consideration of the concept of pedagogic frailty can help academics develop an enhanced understanding of the values that underpin their professional role (p. 1). He further suggests that senior colleagues will not be able to guide and mentor junior colleagues until and unless they are able to articulate their views clearly. This paper also offers an innovative approach to faculty development and the consequence of frailty in a university.The second article, by Keiser (2017), is based on personal experience (as a teacher and professor and engagement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and aims to advance cross cultural exchange and understanding of a major event in the mid-twentieth century in America, the civil rights "March on Washington", to elucidate possibilities for connecting big and small (with a charge to make connections across difference). Keiser also emphasises that every moment can be an opportunity for respect and kindness, but kindness is not enough -students of all ages need to feel part of the human conversation.The third article, by Melton et al.
