“…Therefore, TM@HfS 2 is not suitable as a gas detection material for CH 4 . For C 2 H 4 and CO gases, the recovery time of TM@HfS 2 is too long and the desorption is difficult at 298 K. With the increase of temperature, the kinetic energy and diffusion rate of gas molecules increased, and the desorption time decreased significantly. When the temperature rises to 498 K, the desorption time of Rh@HfS 2 for C 2 H 4 and CO is 0.508 and 7.717 s, respectively. The desorption time of Co@HfS 2 for C 2 H 4 is only 1.551 s. The short recovery time meets the requirements of gas sensors.…”

“…For example, Chen et al investigated the adsorption mechanism of Co and Cr modified the GeSe monolayers on SF6 decomposition components, and found that the modification of the metals significantly improved the surface activity of the intrinsic materials, which led to better adsorption and sensing properties [25]. Lu et al researched the adsorption of SO 2 , SO 2 F 2 , SOF 2 , and HF on Pt-WSSe 2 and found that the material moreover exhibits excellent adsorption properties for SO 2 F 2 with high response and fast recovery with strong resistivity changes [26]. At the moment, the field of gas-sensitive materials research still has a long way to go as more and more demands are being placed on the effective detection of SF 6 decomposition components, and therefore more materials with excellent performance need to be developed and explored [27,28].…”
