Pt/Au Nanoparticles@Co3O4 Cataluminescence Sensor for Rapid Analysis of Methyl Sec-Butyl Ether Impurity in Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether Gasoline Additive

Abstract: High purity methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) can be used to adjust gasoline octane values. However, an isomer, methyl sec-butyl ether (MSBE), is the main by-product of its industrial production, and this affects the purity of MTBE.
