Psykisk helsearbeid under ulike kulturelle betingelser: refleksjoner rundt empatiens funksjon i arbeidet med å beskytte menneskerettighetene. Belyst med et eksempel fra Indonesia
Abstract:Harmful use of coercion violates human rights. Nevertheless, the use of coercion continuesoften with good intentions to do what is in the best interests of the patient. Using an example from Indonesia, this text critically examines whether human rights or social and professional conventions should be employed in difficult situations. This is discussed by asking whether care can protect us against violations of human rights.
