Seizures can impose limitations on children's physical, education, financial, vocational, and social state [2]. Children with epilepsy are up to 4.7 times more likely to have behavioural problems than healthy children such as somatic complaints, anxiety/ depression, delinquency, and aggression [2].Our data, although ongoing shows the positive impact dramatherapy has on the mental health of our patients. We can see that children referred to our services already start with high emotional needs, and that through dramatherapy, we are able to provide another form of treatment for patients with Epilepsy which overall has improved their mental and emotional wellbeing.
