“…Research examining the psychometric properties of the 12‐item WHODAS 2.0 has been conducted in primary care patients with a first major depressive episode (Luciano et al, , ), patients with myocardial infarction (Kirchberger, Braitmayer, Coenen, Oberhauser, & Meisinger, ), neurosurgical patients (Schiavolin et al, ), trauma patients (Abedzadeh‐Kalahroudi, Razi, Sehat, & Asadi‐Lari, ), patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain (Saltychev et al, ), and older adults from low‐ and middle‐income countries (Sousa et al, ). This research has demonstrated high internal consistency, construct validity, convergent and discriminant validity, and no bias in the way participants respond to items based on gender, age, education, marital status, presence of comorbidities, overall health status, and smoking status.…”
