Psychometric Characteristics of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support

Abstract: The initial study describing the development of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) indicated that it was a psychometrically sound instrument (Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, & Farley, 1988).
