Psychological Empowerment Among Urban Youth: Measurement Model and Associations with Youth Outcomes

Abstract: Empowerment-based strategies have become widely used method to address health inequities and promote social change. Few researchers, however, have tested theoretical models of empowerment, including multidimensional, higher-order models.
