The risk of contagion and the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic forced a change in teaching methodologies in radiology. New knowledge about the disease that was being acquired on a daily basis needed to be rapidly spread worldwide, but the restrictions imposed made it difficult to share this information. This paper describes the methodology applied to design and launch a practice-based course on chest X-ray suggestive of COVID-19 right after the pandemic started, and aims to determine whether asynchronous online learning tools for radiology education are useful and acceptable to general practitioners and other medical personnel during a pandemic. The study was carried out from April to October 2020 and involved 2632 participants. Pre- and post-testing was used to assess the participants’ gain of knowledge in the course content (paired t-tests and chi-squared tests of independence). A five-point Likert scale questionnaire inspired by the technological acceptance model (TAM) was provided to evaluate the e-learning methodology (ANOVA tests). The results from the pre- and post-tests showed that there were significant differences in the scores before and after completing the course (sample size = 2632, response rate = 56%, ). As for the questionnaire, all questions surpassed 4.5 out of 5, including those referring to perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and no significant differences were found between experienced and inexperienced participants (sample size = 2535, response rate = 53%, ). The analysis suggests that the applied methodology is flexible enough to adapt to complex situations, and is useful to improve knowledge on the subject of the course. Furthermore, a wide acceptance of the teaching methodology is confirmed for all technological profiles, pushing for and endorsing a more widespread use of online platforms in the domain of radiology continuing education.

The quality of service is not measured by having the best computers, best laboratories, best infrastructure or the best teachers, but rather by the satisfaction that the student perceives when receiving the education. The main objective was to analyze the perspectives of the quality of service in e-learning teaching in university students in Peru. The systematized methodology was the descriptive correlational method with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach, intentional sampling was used, where 2,641 students from state and private universities participated through an anonymous and voluntary online survey, the data obtained was analyzed using the SPSS program. In the results, the combinatorial factorial analysis is used, obtaining the value of Cronbach's Alpha (0.978), valid and reliable statistical tests whose values are accepted to continue with the investigation of the perspective of the quality of the service in e-learning teaching, the statistical tests have outstanding values of satisfactory and very satisfactory. It is concluded that students and teachers adapted to the e-learning service in stages until they achieved their full satisfaction based on their particular needs.

Corona virus disease 19 merupakan penyakit infeksi pada sistem saluran pernapasan. Kasusnya Covid-19 terus meningkat dan telah menyebar hampir keseluruh belahan dunia termasuk Indonesia. Dampak yang ditimbulkan tidak hanya masalah kesehatan fisik, namun juga masalah psikologis atau mental. Dampak psikologis yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat di Kelurahan Tobek Godang adalah stres dan cemas akibat pembatasan social, takut tertular, stress dalam membimbing anak belajar di rumah bahkan mengalami masalah finansial. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesehatan mental, melakukan pendidikan kesehatan berupa edukasi dan pelatihan penanganan stres seperti teknik napas dalam, relaksasi otot progresif, dan hipnotis lima jari. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Tobek Godang Kota Pekanbaru. Khalayak sasaran adalah kader kesehatan yang berjumlah 20 orang. Rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum diberikan pelatihan diperoleh 63 poin, sedangkan setelah diberikan pelatihan meningkat menjadi 90.5 poin. Peningkatan pengetahuan yang cukup signifikan sebesar 27,5 % dan kader juga mampu melakukan berbagai strategi penanganan stres. Setelah dilakukan edukasi dan pelatihan, kader kesehatan diharapkan dapat menerapkan strategi penanganan masalah kesehatan jiwa kepada masyarakat sekitar yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19.
