PSUN316 Racial Disparities in Diabetes Control and Use of Technology in a High Risk Cohort of Youth with Diabetes

Abstract: Background Racial and ethnic minority children experience significant disparities in achieving the American Diabetes Association-recommended hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) levels when compared to non-Hispanic Whites (NHW). Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and insulin pump (IP) use are associated with improved glycemic control.
