“…The GEA is a validated four‐point photonumeric scale used by investigators at each site to assess overall eyelash prominence, as indicated by the physical attributes of eyelash length, darkness and thickness (1 = minimal, 2 = moderate, 3 = marked, 4 = very marked). The ESQ is a validated 23‐item patient‐reported outcome questionnaire that measures satisfaction in three domains: physical attributes of length, fullness and overall satisfaction (Domain 1); subjective attributes of confidence, attractiveness and professionalism (Domain 2); and impact on daily routine (Domain 3) . Reponses to questions in ESQ Domain 2 were rated on a five‐point Likert‐type scale (1 = very much disagree; 2 = disagree; 3 = neutral; 4 = agree; 5 = very much agree), with higher scores indicating a higher degree of patient‐reported satisfaction with the subjective attributes of the eyelashes.…”
