Abstract

Mental health is affected by biological, psychological, social and environmental variables. Coercive events play a major role in the emergence of mental health problems. Epidemics, natural disasters, social and economic crises, war, migration and other traumas are primary triggers for the deterioration of mental health.The COVID-19 pandemic has been a crisis affecting all layers of society, and this crisis has worsened the mental health of those who are prone to mental illness, are isolated or have existing mental health problems.
