Pseudo Random Bits’ Generator Based on Tent Chaotic Map and Linear Feedback Shift Register

Abstract: The unforeseeable demand for secure paradigm cannot be fulfilled by the arbitrary sequence generated by the linear feedback shift register, which means the generated sequence can't meet satisfy the unpredictable demand for secure paradigm. Tent chaotic equation combined with the linear property of Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) has resulted in a novel arbitrary sequence generator having a lengthier and composite structure. An analysis of the LFSR output sequence's architecture when combined with Tent ma… Show more

“…In recent decades, chaos has been studied due to nonlinear and difficult to predict phenomenon in nature. Chaos has a great property that it is sensitive dependent on initial condition [3,4]. One of the most simple and famous chaotic map is logistic map, using this system many cryptographic application has been developed such as algorithm for image encryption and decryption, digital water marking algorithm and pseudo or true random number generator.…”
