Abstract:We report a case of 67 years old female diagnosed with pseudo-duplication of the optic nerve in association with posterior staphyloma. Her best corrected visual acuity in the right eye was finger counting close to face and 6/9 in the left eye. The anterior segment findings were normal however in the left eye; a vertically oval and excavated lesion was present nasally, with vessels dipping in the excavation similar to the optic disc.
