Cloud computing is a new computing paradigm, which utilizes dissipated resource benefits and supports resource sharing and time access flexibility. In addition, cloud provides different kinds of services mapped to users needs such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS). There are two different types of cloud implementations: commercial cloud solutions such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Microsoft Azure; and non-commercial (open source) cloud solutions such as Apache VCL and Open-Stack cloud. This paper discusses the Apache VCL cloud framework, its architecture, functionality, properties, and its workflow. It helps the user target groups, such as students, teachers and researchers to verify the VCL.

We have developed a system (traditional system) to flexibly provide the requested applications environment on educational Windows PCs. The traditional system dynamically controls the execution of applications installed on each educational PC depending on the rules defined by teachers as well as by administrators. The traditional system, however, has a low tolerance for malicious attacks. If the execution file of a certain application is falsified, the corresponding rules already applied become invalid. In addition, though the traditional system has a function to define groups of controlled applications, it does not support hierarchical groups. This reduces the usability of the traditional system. In order to address these issues, this paper proposes a control method of application execution using digital certificates. The proposed method has a high tolerance for the falsification of execution files by controlling their executions based on the reliability of the corresponding digital certificates. It also improves its usability by introducing hierarchical group management utilizing hierarchical structure for digital certificates.

Penetration testing is a specialized security auditing methodology where a tester simulates an attack on a secured system. The main theme of this paper itself reflects how one can collect the massive amount of log files which are generated among virtual datacenters in real time which in turn also posses invisible information with excessive organization value. Such testing usually ranges across all aspects concerned to log management across a number of servers among virtual data centers. In fact, Virtualization limits the costs by reducing the need for physical hardware systems. Instead, require high-end hardware for processing. In the real-time scenario, we usually come across multiple logs among VCenter, ESXi, a VM which is very typical for performing manual analysis with a bit more time-consuming. Instead of configuring secure-ids automatically in a Centralized log management server gains a powerful full insight. Along with using accurate search algorithms, fields searching, which includes title, author, and also content comes out of searching, sorting fields, multiple-index search with merged results simultaneously updates files, with joint results grouping automatically configures few plugs among search engine file formats were effective measures in an investigation. Finally, by using the Flexibility Network Security Monitor, Traffic Investigation, offensive detection, Log Recording, Distributed inquiry with full program's ability can export data to a variety of visualization dashboard which exactly needed for Log Investigations across Virtual Data Centers in real time.
