Providing Behavioral Health Services in Nursing Homes Is Difficult: Findings From a National Survey

Abstract: OBJECTIVES Behavioral health (BH) disorders affect 65% to 90% of nursing home (NH) residents. Access to BH services in NHs has been generally considered inadequate, but the empirical evidence is sparse.
