“…Cheng et al [9] found that patients enrolled in an intensive LSM program were more racially diverse and had a higher prevalence of obesity and diabetes than age-matched and musculoskeletal condition–matched groups. Another study found that an interprofessional team meeting was important in care delivery [10]. Collectively, this early work suggests that the application of LSM for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including OA, is possible and holds promise for treatment.…”
