Abstract:Proton spin‐lattice, T1, and spin‐spin, T2, relaxation times of poly(ethylene terephthalate) film annealed at various temperatures were measured using a broad line pulse spectrometer. The value of T1 is closely related to the crystallinity of the sample and only one T1 was observed for each sample, indicating that the spin diffusion is effectively operating. Even in the amorphous sample there are some nuclear spins, the motion of which is strongly restricted.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
