Abstract:Abstract. The microscopic Monte Carlo quark-gluon string model (QGSM) is employed to study particle production in ultrarelativistic proton-proton collisions. The model is based on Reggeon Field theory accomplished by string phenomenology. Various observables, including multiplicity, rapidity and transverse momentum spectra, short-range, long-range and femtoscopy correlations, are described quite well in a wide span of the collision energy. Predictions are made for pp collisions at √ s = 14 TeV.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
