Abstract: Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) are the two most common primary liver tumors. Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) is a non-surgical treatment that spares adjacent tissues compared to photon radiation, limiting damage to nearby structures.
