Protocol‐based collaborative design for discrete‐time switched systems with sojourn probabilities

Abstract: This article focuses on the collaborative design of a class of discrete-time switched systems with sojourn probabilities. For the purpose of preventing the data collision, the Try-Once-Discard (TOD) protocol is employed to govern the information transmission between sensors and the controller. Moreover, it is worth noting that the values of sojourn probabilities, which are not given ahead, have an effect on the system stability. As a consequence, a novel collaborative design framework is established, in which … Show more

“…How to ensure proper utilization efficiency is of great importance for data transmissions over communication networks. To properly schedule the constrained network resources, some well‐known communication protocols have been employed to deal with the signal transmission procedures, such as the round‐robin protocol, the try‐once‐discard protocol and so forth 12,13 . On the other hand, the event‐based transmission strategy has also gained special research interest owing to its distinctive advantages in cutting down the data transmission quantities, and many elegant results on resource‐constrained networked systems with event‐triggered scheme (ETS) have been reported in the literature, see, for example, References 5,7, and 14 and the references therein.…”
