Abstract:BACKGROUNDSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a multisystemic autoimmune disease. About 40% of patients have gastrointestinal tract involvement. Protein-losing enteropathy (PPE) is a rare manifestation that in half of the cases manifests as diarrhea.
