Protein kinase C-ε activation induces mitochondrial dysfunction and fragmentation in renal proximal tubules

Abstract: PKC-ε activation mediates protection from ischemia-reperfusion injury in the myocardium. Mitochondria are a subcellular target of these protective mechanisms of PKC-ε.
