“…Moreover, using NMR analysis, our laboratory found that DSF contains phytoandrogen contents called the terpenoid derivative substances Various testicular proteins have been reported to play important roles in steroidogenesis and spermatogenesis. The impaired alteration of testicular proteins was also demonstrated inT2DM animals (Choubey et al, 2020;Sampannang et al, 2019;Zhao et al, 2017). It is noted that tyrosine-phosphorylated (TyrPho) proteins are specifically localised within Sertoli cells and late spermatids (Arad-Dann et al, 1993;Ballester et al, 2004;Chaichun et al, 2017) in T1DM and T2DM animals is significantly decreased (Choubey et al, 2020;Liu et al, 2013;Nna et al, 2018;Sampannang et al, 2019) which is consistent with our recent report.…”

“…To clarify the effect of cordycepin on diabetes‐induced testicular damage, we established a type 2 diabetic mice model induced by streptozotocin combined with high‐fat diet. Choubey M et al showed that adiponectin effectively improves testicular function in type 2 diabetic mice induced by, as well as streptozotocin combined with high‐fat diet (Choubey et al, 2020). A similar modelling method was used by Maremanda et al to show that a zinc‐deficient diet exacerbates testicular and epididymal damage in type 2 diabetic rats.…”

“…In a study by Abdullah et al, it was reported that GSH improves diabetes-induced degraded testicular morphology and sperm quality, thanks to its antioxidant properties (25). Choubey et al reported that adiponectin reduced oxidative stress and had a protective role against testicular dysfunction in their study in high-fat diet+STZ-induced type-2 diabetic mice (26). In the same research, it stated that the treatment applied to mice decreased the increased lipid peroxidation caused by diabetes and elevated SOD activity.…”
