Protective effects of amphetamine on gastric ulcerations induced by indomethacin in rats

Abstract: Amphetamine affords a significant dose-dependent protection against the indomethacin-induced gastric ulcerations in rats. It is suggested that the adrenergic system is involved in the gastric mucosa protection.
