Protective effect of estrogen combined with aspirin against re-stenosis of vein graft

Abstract: The protective effect of estrogen and aspirin against the re-stenosis of vein graft was studied in three groups of male cholesterol-fed rabbits autografted with femoral vein in one side of femoral artery. Group A(n=5) injected 1 mg/wk estrogen and ingested 160mg/wk aspirin, group B(n=5) only injected 1mg/wk estrogen and group C(n=5) ingested placebo for eight weeks.
