Protection of bottom plates by means of refractory coatings based on silicic acid ash and zirconium concentrate

Abstract: In the first campaign, the durability of the lining made of the experimental Kor-93 blocks, even in the most unfavorable service conditions, was over 50 meltings to the first repair. Thus cast corundum products of special shape proved to be the best of the tested materials with respect to durability in PVSC, taking account of the feasibility and cost of producing them.
