Protecting Effect of Chitin and Chitosan on Experimentally Induced Murine Candidiasis

Abstract: Chitin and chitosan were found to exhibit a protective effect on mice administered these polysaccharides intraperitoneally against infection of the viable cells of Candida albicans NIH A‐207 strain.
