“Protected Teaching Spaces”: Opportunities and Constraints When Teaching for the edTPA

Abstract: Preservice teacher performance assessments, such as the edTPA, are one of the accountability policies from states and local authorities designed to ensure the quality of beginning teachers and standardize teacher education.
