Abstract:A prostate abscess is a rare clinical entity with an incidence of 0.2%-0.5% in males. No case reports exist of Staphylococcus haemolyticus as an etiologic bacterial agent. We report a 59-year-old man with a past medical history of poorly controlled diabetes mellitus and benign prostatic hyperplasia who was hospitalized due to urosepsis and obstruction.
