“…En ausencia de monitoreo ambiental, el estado de salud de las poblaciones de bivalvos y el conocimiento de la historia de vida de especies particulares, incluyendo la pérdida de la capacidad reproductiva, puede ser un indicador de alteraciones ambientales (Breton et al, 2018), donde los estudios de los factores que definen el sexo son útiles para reflejar la salud de los ecosistemas (Campos et al, 2012).
