Proses Degradasi Lignin Pada Limbah Batang Tembakau Sebagai Persiapan Produksi Bioetanol

Kandungan gula hidrolisis batang t… Show more

“…The yield indicates that acid extraction produces a higher yield than alkaline extraction method. According to [3], the use of NaOH will multiply hemicellulose compounds and degrade lignin in the extraction of tobacco stems. This is in line with [5], who contend that the use of NaOH will damage the components of hemicellulose and lignin which will affect the yield.…”

“…One of the largest agricultural wastes humans often ignore is tobacco stem waste. With a population range of 22,000 trees per hectare and an estimated weight of 0.5 kg of tobacco stems, Indonesia will generate more than 2 million tons of tobacco stem waste (Handayani et al, 2018). Tobacco stems contain…”

“…Chemical treatment includes using HCl (Handayani et al, 2018), NaOH (Muryanto et al, 2016), and ionic ionic solutions (Domínguez de María et al, 2014;Sen et al, 2012). Of the various recommended strong bases, NaOH is the best base for degrading lignin.…”
