Abstract:BackgroundAfter idiopathic epiretinal membrane (iERM) removal, it is unclear whether the internal limiting membrane (ILM) should be removed. The objective was to assess if active ILM peeling after iERM removal could induce microscotomas.MethodsThe PEELING study is a national randomised clinical trial.
