Proposing spacetime scale for space tourism economics

Abstract: This research proposes the spacetime scale to derive a space tourism economic model based on the General Relativity Theory. The space curvature is considered in the economic model analogized to a physic theory to expand the horizons of tourism economics. The deductive reasoning and analogy methods were adopted to propose the spacetime scale for space tourism economics, accommodating the conventional economic models of near-flat space commodities on the earth. Conclusions suggest conquering our perception accep… Show more

“…The data is generated for an empirical study of the demand side study of space tourism. It is an extensive study for the related research article [1] , which is a conceptual article with a different aim of economic measurement scale. Though, there have been a few tourists who have personal experience that can conduct empirical studies.…”

“… The data is for empirical studies derived from a related research article about space tourism [1] , which is a conceptual article with a different aim of economic measurement scale. Most space tourism research is conceptual because data from the nascent industry is limited [2] .…”

“…Research has examined the motivations of people wanting to participate in space tourism (Frost and Frost, 2022; Laing and Frost, 2019; Reddy et al , 2012; Weibel, 2020) as well as the economics of space tourism (Peng et al , 2022). Perhaps not surprisingly given the costs, the significance of constraints for participation in space tourism is highlighted by various scholars (Chang and Chern, 2016; Weibel, 2020).…”
