Abstract:This paper aims to identify the best practices for preventing wildfires in Cyprus, focusing on reducing fire ignition and managing the growth and intensity of extreme fire events. Rather than advocating for complete wildfire exclusion, the goal is to suggest strategies that minimize the likelihood of fires.
