“…Existem estudos que correlacionam diretamente a presença de complicações perinatais, como a paralisia cerebral, a leucomalácia periventricular e a displasia broncopulmonar, com a inflamação intramniótica observada nos PPTe, com ou sem identificação direta de agentes infecciosos, mas com elevação significativa de leucócitos e PCR 9,17 .
