“…All studies have been approved by the Bioethics Committee of the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and have been performed in accordance with the ethical standards stated in the 1964 'Declaration of Helsinki'. In our study we used total aqueous-saline extract obtained from fresh human placentas as well as its individual fractions, isolated by gel chromatography, as described by us previously (19). Human placentas, weighing between 400-600 g, were collected after normal pregnancies from healthy parturients (23-28 years old Caucasians) with their informed consent.…”
