Propensity of mortality from external causes in the state Piauí, Brazil 2001 – 2012

Abstract: Results: There were 19,725 deaths, highlighting the male (82.8%), aged 20-39 years (46.3%), marital status: single (51%), of brown ethnicity (66.2%), and education from 4 to 7 years (26.3%). The men, aged 20 to 29 years (29.7%). The women, aged 60 and over (25.5%). The standardized mortality rate increased (74.6/100 000 inhabitants) in 2012.
