Effect of Foliar Spray of Zinc and Irrigating with Smoking-Water on Growth of Citrus Rootstock C35

“…Results of table No. (1) shown that spraying the C35 saplings with (75) mg.l -1 of zinc were increased significantly most values of vegetative traits such as (plant's height, shoots No., main stem diameter, leaves No. ,leaves area distance and percentages of vegetative dry matter) that reaches (92.90 cm, 4.05 shoot.sapling -1 ,7.83 mm, 69.33 leaf.sapling -1 , 23.57 decimeter 2 and 45.40 %) alternatively, superior to the control (0) mg.l -1 , which gave the lowest value of the same traits (84.12 cm, 3.26 shoot.sapling -1 ,7.08 mm, 56.56 leaf.sapling -1 , 19.34 decimeter 2 and 31 %) alternatively, Zn sprayed on leave showed a positive correlation among levels of micronutrients in the leaves so it increase vegetative growth [14].…”
