Promotion of ER stress: a potential therapeutic approach for PCO

Abstract: Purpose Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO) remains a significant clinical problem following cataract surgery. Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) stress has been shown to play a critical role in cell death and apoptosis.
