Local history learning plays a very important role in the teaching of history in school. Through local history, students can understand about historical events and the development process of human life along with the noble values in it starting from the environment around them. However, reality nowadays shows that historical learning tends to merely orient to national history. This condition leads to a low level of students' knowledge and understanding of local history. The situation is made worse by the rapid development of technology, information, and communication at the current 4.0 industrial revolution so that local history is ignored progressively. This study aimed to compile a conceptual model of digital learning media innovation based on local history as an alternative solution in improving students' understanding of the local history. This research was qualitative research conducted by literature review method. The results of this study showed that digital learning media was proven to have positive influences in improving the achievement of learning competencies on cognitive aspects. The conceptual model of digital learning media based on local history produced in this study is expected to be an alternative solution to improve the students' understanding of the local history.

This study aims to investigate the diversity of tuber plants used as food by the people in Banten, which are then used as learning content based on local potential. To achieve this goal, we conducted a research and development (RD) method to create various media using the information of tubers diversity in Banten. In the first stage, we collected data on the diversity of tuber plants cultivated by residents in Banten province and their uses. In the second stage, we developed various forms of learning media from the diversity data and the status of plant utilization. Data on diversity was obtained by conducting field observation and interviews with 373 respondents: tuber farmers, traders, intermediaries, processed makers, souvenir shop owners, and homemakers in Banten. Data were analyzed using the descriptive-qualitative method. Information about the diversity of types of tubers, their use for food, and their processing techniques then use as the content on learning media of Biology subject for senior high school on biodiversity, ecosystems, and biotechnology concept. We customize content development to support Biology classes using the Kurikulum Merdeka. The results showed that there were 16 species of tubers used as food, belong to 11 families, such as Dioscoreaceae, Euphorbiaceae, and Convolvulaceae which used as a staple food, snacks, and vegetables. The results of the media development analysis show that diversity data can be applied to various types of multimedia learning media in the biological sciences. While these materials may complement the learning of Biology, careful consideration must be given to the advantages and disadvantages of each medium to ensure that they are appropriate to the learning goals and circumstances of the learners.

Local history learning plays an important role in helping students understand their position as part of a diverse society. Thus, it makes them more sensitive to environmental conditions. However, local history learning has not been implemented appropriately by the stakeholder. This is due partly to the lack of learning resources and supportive learning media. This research aims to develop an interesting and interactive digital learning media based on local history, as a means of integrating local history in history learning at school. Research and development method was applied in this study with ADDIE model. The data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was performed with an independent sample t-test. The test results showed that the significance value obtained (Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.004 <0.05 with the mean values of the experimental class and control class was 76.1 and 64.7 respectively. The digital flipbook learning media of Pugung Raharjo archeological site was effective to enhance student’s learning outcomes. Therefore, it was appropriate to be widely used.
