Abstract: Electrocatalytic semihydrogenation of alkynols to alkenols under ambient conditions using H 2 O as a hydrogen source is highly attractive in synthetic chemistry. However, it is still challenging to achieve a high Faradaic efficiency (FE) in a wide potential window.
