“…MMSE used to evaluates global cognitive function, including orientation, attention, calculation, executive function, language, among others 27 . MoCA mainly used for a brief evaluation of cognitive functions such as memory, visuospatial, abstract thinking, attention, and executive function 28 , it is more sensitive than MMSE for detection of mild cognitive impairment in T2DM 29 . Verbal episodic memory was measured by CVLT, measuring verbal auditory learning, recall- and recognition memory 30 .…”

“…A short-term physical activities program shows benefits in mental health indicators as 30% decrease in depression symptomatology, 58% in stress and 44% in anxiety in post-COVID-19 patients (Flores et al, 2024). Harwood et al (2023) all presented evidence supporting physical activity or green spaces as potential interventions for promoting mental well-being during or after pandemics like COVID-19. Despite these results showing detrimental effects on mental health among several populations, including pregnant women and children/adolescents, as a result of decreased physical activity during the pandemic, there is limited evidence supporting specific strategies for promoting physical activity to mitigate these effects and identifying potential interventions such as physical activity or access to green spaces that could promote better mental well-being amidst pandemics like COVID-19.…”

“…It is a 12-month exercise and activity-based programme consisting of progressive strength, balance and dual task exercises, functional activities and activities of daily living training, risk analysis, advice, and environmental assessment, all delivered using a motivational approach to support long-term participation in physical activity [ 11 ]. The effectiveness of the PrAISED intervention was studied in the PrAISED-2 multi-site, pragmatic, Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT), which took place between September 2018 and January 2023 [ 6 , 28 ]. Before the results of PrAISED-2 were available and in anticipation of an implementation phase, the current study aimed to explore the views of commissioners and stakeholders on this matter and to inform the commissioning and implementation of wider health and social care dementia interventions.…”
