Promising Real World Survival Data in Adult-Onset Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis: An Australasian Lymphoma Alliance 20 Year Retrospective Study

Abstract: Background: Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare inflammatory neoplasm originating from bone marrow-derived CD207+/CD1+ clonal dendritic cells, with cells expressing BRAF V600E in around 50% of cases. Although more common in the paediatric setting, LCH is rare in adults, with an incidence of 1 to 2 cases per million.
