Prolonged Reciprocal Signaling via NMDA and GABA Receptors at a Retinal Ribbon Synapse

Abstract: AMPA and GABA A receptors mediate most of the fast signaling in the CNS. However, the retina must, in addition, also convey slow and sustained signals.
